Autumn in a glass! Even if you don't love cider, give this a go - it's crisp, golden, not too sweet.
Combine the dry apple cider, vermouth, bitters, simple syrup and a handful of ice in a jug, or a cocktail shaker. Use a long spoon to stir for 30 seconds, or until the outside of the jug/shaker is ice cold.
Strain into a rocks glass with one fresh large ice cube, then garnish with the apple slice and you're done. Enjoy!
