
Whether you are a sprout lover or hater, you have to try this recipe. It’s the way sprouts deserve to be treated - with love, care & miso.
Heat a cast iron skillet (or an oven-safe frying pan) over a medium-high heat and add the oil. Once hot, add the Brussels sprouts and fry for 8-10 minutes, stirring regularly, until slightly charred. Remove from the heat and add the miso dressing. Stir well, then transfer the whole pan into the oven to roast for 15-20 minutes, or until sticky and golden.
Meanwhile, you can make the breadcrumb topping. Heat a frying pan over a low heat and add the butter and miso paste. Stir until melted, then add the breadcrumbs and sesame seeds. Fry for 2-3 minutes, stirring regularly, until golden and crispy.
Sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the roasted sprouts and gently stir just before serving.
